I did get a refund, but Amazon and the supplier refused to replace it, so the outcome was that I have to order it all over again. The item arrived bent. I have another model that works fairly well, but the foam seems to dissolve fairly quickly when it is spooned onto the coffee.
this was recommended to me by my sister. It works really well with skim and low fat milk.
The other one barely worked, but the Aerolatte To Go works really really well. Clean up is very easy - wash it off and then spin it under its own power to spin off the water, stick it in the case which has some tiny holes in the bottom for air flow to prevent moisture from building up, and stick it in the drawer. I was skeptical that this little thing would do a good job so I also ordered another frother at the same time I ordered this one. It is quick and does a fantastic job as creating a fine froth that doesn't deflate and is indistinguishable from steamed froth.
They are a bit delicate - can't get banged around or they will break. I have ordered several of these. But, I have a stand from a previous frother and I don't allow my kids to touch it.
It is so portable and light - no weight at all. I have a metal one and also bought this one for my mom to take back to the UK. It whips up milk in no time at all - don't need to use the cappucino maker.
